Fields of study for scholarships

EU subject codes / Fields of Study

This is the information about the EU subject codes used to classify the different subjects or fields of expertise covered by the individual mobility. The programme will give a priority to exchange of students and academic staff in one of the sub-fields/subject areas (for example 01.6 Forestry) listed after the main fields/disciplines (in bold in the below Table):

We have learned from the feedback of the first and second round that applicants found it difficult to determine which particular subjects were available, for example, at ITC. Therefore, we improved the information content on the web site and application form.

We strongly recommend you to study the tables of the “Available fields of study” for each university (at the right) before you apply. The information regarding the available subjects is listed under European Partner Universities. Here you can see which studies are on offer and for which mobility. In case you need more information about the available fields of study, you can contact the relevant university (listed under "European Partner Universities").

The EU has imposed a number of rules concerning fieldwork for EM ECW scholarship holders.

Erasmus Mundus students must not do fieldwork / projects in their home country, and have to do their research within the EU. If these conditions are breached, the scholarship holder will not receive any scholarship monies, and the scholarship monies must be returned to the EU.

To select a subject area / field of study go to the “Registration” page (http://www.erasmusmundus8.net/application/Registration/) and then Click for online registration.
